After the previous post i’ve decided to write a complaint to OFSTED over the weekend.

It doesn’t need to be indepth.

I don’t feel that myself providing the evidence is the best way to go about this.

I’ll provide evidence regarding their failure to investigate a customer complaint and the amount of lies they have told, including the last one which was condoned by the monitoring officer.

My focus will be on their lack of safeguarding. A child attempts suicide, is very vocal beforehand that they are suicidal and the reasons why but children’s services do nothing from a safeguarding perspective, and then afterwards, they still do nothing. The serious safeguarding concerns regarding that child were ignored.

It doesn’t matter the particulars with regards to OFSTED. All that matters is that serious safeguarding incidents have happened, and are still ongoing.

Children will still be driven to suicide by children’s services, vulnerable women will be forced to stay behind after ICPC’s to be brainwashed into believing whatever children’s services narrative is. Child protection conference chairs will refuse to look at medical evidence that will exonerate parents. Children will still be being shouted at when they insist their lived experiences are real and not left screaming, crying, self harming, barricading themselves in rooms, and suicidal by social workers. Children’s voices will still not be being heard.

Disclosures of childhood sexual abuse will still be being forced over the phone while children are present even though the person is begging to be allowed to do it where they feel safe.

More children are going to die, both from abuse, and from suicide because serious safeguarding issues are not even being accepted as existing.

According to essex children’s services my child did not attempt suicide due to the actions of employees of children’s services, I am unsure what reason they would give for my child’s suicide if asked. Given that the reason my child gave, both before and after, was that children’s services had failed to safeguard my child, I have no idea what answer they will have made up. It’s possible that acting in their own interests, children’s services have failed to record the attempt, and my childs voice.

They aren’t good when it comes to listening to children. “We don’t matter because we are only children” was the most uttered phrase by my children during involvement with children’s services.

It’s true, the children aren’t what matters, it’s public relations that matter.

I can prove that Essex Children’s Services agree with the statement my children all made regarding that they don’t matter. They wouldn’t have gone to such great lengths if they did. 6 different excuses for their refusal to investigate, all totally made up and easily proven to be made up. All of this condoned by everyone. Senior Executives, Members, Officers, Monitoring Officer, the lot.

If they were serious about safeguarding children and as such adhering to their statutory obligations with regards to OFSTED, they would be able to just show OFSTED how seriously they take safeguarding, how seriously they take children’s lives, how seriously they take attempted suicide.

That they have absolutely nothing, have done zero safeguarding investigations, or even expressed any concern whatsoever is very heavily evidenced. Both by the lack of any evidence to show the opposite, and by the sheer amount of paperwork I have where they are showing a complete disregard with respect to my children’s safety and wellbeing and the safety and wellbeing of other children.

It doesn’t matter that i’m given them the heads up on what to expect, they cannot suddenly turn round after 3 years and suddenly say they are all about the safety and wellbeing of my children when they are not.

That’s not even mentioning SEND and that they were happy to not provide a statutory education to one of my children for 4 years, and are now perfectly happy in not providing a statutory education to another of my children, 18 months and counting. Given the time they have now left my child without an education it is going to be increasingly difficult to get my child back.

All professionals involved with my child have agreed that my child needs a certain intervention, I agree, everyone agrees. Except for Essex County Council. They actually seem perfectly happy for my child to be receiving absolutely no education and just be at home all day doing nothing because my child has SEND.

Their SEND was rated ‘requires improvement’ at the last inspection. They haven’t even bothered to try and improve it, they are still leaving children with SEND without a statutory education.

It’s damaging to the children to not be receiving an education, it’s not even attainment that is the problem, it’s everything else that comes with being in education they miss out on. It really has a detrimental impact on a child. Not that Essex County Council care about that.

I wonder how they are going to spin how bad they are with children with SEND at the next OFSTED inspection, I imagine they will likely be shouting out about all these plans they have. Which funnily enough hasn’t helped either of my children, given they were both left to rot by ECC because they require extra help due to SEND. ECC hate children with disabilities, I think it might be because they are expensive and they would rather spend the money on things like pay rises.

Anyway, that will be my task this weekend. Doing a report for both children’s services and SEND for OFSTED.

My focus will be on providing them the details on where they can find that information from children’s services, because that my child was vocal about being suicidal and the reasons why before their attempt, and vocal afterwards, should have been noted. That not only they failed to investigate the serious safeguarding allegations before the attempt, and after are well recorded. That they repeatedly lied is also well recorded.

That they also failed to notify the LADO should be recorded by omission.
