Gabriel Lowrie lied to Essex County Council too
Thought i’d make a separate post about this.
I raised a complaint regarding his open facebook page, this was handled by Louise McSpadden, the then service manager for A&I in Harlow.
She investigated, upheld my complaint, and in the response was much the same as Gabriel lied about to Social Work England in this post:
I cannot be totally sure how many of the lies he made to SWE were also in the response that ECC gave me. Their email system was a secure system of some kind, you had to set up an account and log in. What I didn’t know is that you only have access to the emails on that account for 3 months and then the system automatically stops your access to those emails, both the ones you received, and sent.
Essex County Council will still have access to these emails, and also this would be recorded in his disciplinary notes which will also be available.
Given it was two years ago, I cannot be totally sure how much of the lies he told SWE crossed over into the ones he told ECC.
I believe that it was roughly the same though.
I responded to Louise McSpadden telling her that he was lying and pointing out where he had lied and exactly what proves he’s lied.
I am unsure if he came up with the lie himself, or if ECC helped him out, worked together to come up with something that would lessen his responsibility, not for his sake, but to make ECC not look bad.
That he was going through a disciplinary hearing or had done, I think it was past tense, i’m guessing those lies were also told then, he has no problem lying to peoples faces so for him to attend a disciplinary meeting and lie through his teeth would be a natural and normal thing for him to do.
For those lies to end up on the response letter I received, he must have said them during his disciplinary, given I responded with the evidence he’d lied, this is just more proof regarding how ECC value how they look more than they value residents.
Any other organisation would have labelled that level of lying as gross misconduct and fired him, especially because he is a social worker and it’s so important that social workers are honest and trustworthy.
If hearsay is correct, then they promoted him instead.
As i’ve said, my ability to see the email I was sent, and the one I sent listing his lies and the proof he’d lied is long gone as ECC took that away after 3 months, which they don’t tell you otherwise I would have screenshotted them or saved them another way if possible.
However, ECC legally have to keep things like that for a set number of years. I’d obviously like to be able to publish the emails here, but if ECC tried to take legal action against me and said i’m lying, the emails in question would be able to be found.
So Gabriel Lowrie lied to his employer during his disciplinary, he ended up getting promoted.
I’ve done nothing but tell the truth, and I get threatened with legal action by Louise McKinlay..
Essex County Council will do anything and everything to protect it’s reputation, let social workers lie because it suits them, harm children rather than investigate a serious complaint because it suits them.
They really are corrupt and they really cause a lot of harm.
Yet the employees that cause the harm get protected, and the service users get harmed and threatened if they speak up.
It’s absolutely disgusting.
